Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Welcomes Ashes & Arrows This Friday for a Night of Live Music and Community Fun
Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 is back this Friday, May 2, with a high-energy performance by Asheville-based Americana rock band Ashes & Arrows. The free community concert kicks off at 6:00 PM in Downtown Statesville and promises a fun-filled evening of live music, local food, drinks, and family-friendly entertainment.
From the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina to the peaks of Arrowtown, New Zealand, Ashes & Arrows captivate audiences around the country with their strong vocals, thoughtful lyrics, and on-stage charisma. Their latest performances have been described as "electrifying" and "deeply authentic," making them a perfect fit for the Friday After 5 concert series.
The Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 Summer Concert Series offers free live entertainment in Downtown Statesville from May through October. This popular series features an exciting lineup of musical acts representing a variety of styles—from timeless hits and country favorites to blues and rock and roll—ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. “This Friday marks the kickoff of another exciting season of the Piedmont HealthCare Friday After Five (PHCFAF), one of the most beloved traditions in Downtown Statesville,” said Jeff Smith, CEO of Piedmont HealthCare. “It’s a time for friends, families, and neighbors to come together to enjoy great music, delicious food and drinks, and a vibrant community atmosphere. Pack up the family and join us downtown—I can’t wait to see you there!” The series is also made possible by the presenting sponsorship of Flow Automotive of Statesville. Whether you're a fan of throwback classics or modern-day favorites, the PHCFAF Summer Concert Series promises evenings filled with music, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
The concerts are held in Downtown Statesville on West Broad Street in front of Mitchell Community College from 6 – 8:30 pm. Beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks, water, and food will be available for purchase beginning at 5pm. Bring your chairs and enjoy a great night of music, but remember no pets, outside beverages, or coolers are allowed.
This year, each Piedmont HealthCare Friday After 5 concert will support a non-profit organization, offering them a booth to share information about their program and collecting donations on their behalf. We are excited to announce that this week's event will be dedicated to benefiting PFLAG Statesville. PFLAG Statesville aims to create an equitable and inclusive space within our community where every LGBTQ+ person can feel safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved. Andrea’s Ice Cream & Sweet Shop along with Waffle Chick and EmberCraft Fusion food trucks will be serving food, sweets, water & soft drinks.
