Spring Trash Bash (04/25/26)

The City is calling on residents to roll up their sleeves and help clean up our community! The Spring Trash Bash, held in conjunction with the NCDOT Litter Sweep, is part of North Carolina’s biannual roadside litter removal initiative. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, residents can make a visible difference in our city. 🔹Street Superintendent (Full-Time): This position is responsible for supervisory and administrative work directing the operations of the Streets Division, including the maintenance, repair, and construction of City streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, and other public right-of-way infrastructure. The position plans and coordinates work, supervises staff, manages division budgets, and ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

🔹Waste Collector (Full-Time): This position is responsible for manual work in the collection of garbage, trash, and yard waste.
